Founded in 1987, the Zanjan University of Medical Sciences is a non-profit public higher education institution located in the urban setting of the medium city of Zanjan (population range of 250,000-499,999 inhabitants). Officially recognized by the Ministry of Health and Medical Education of Iran, Zanjan University of Medical Sciences (ZUMS) is a small-sized (uniRank enrollment range: 4,000-4,999 students) coeducational Iranian higher education institution.
