History

The Toxoplasmosis Research Center was established in order to develop research activities and provide health care solutions.  The Toxoplasmosis Research Center received its license on January 1st, November, 2012.

 

Vision

Toxoplasmosis Research Center of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences is determined to develop the research activities in the next five years with the following features:

• Production and registration of scientific articles in academic authentic databases of the country and the world.
• Effective collaboration with international research centers and the World Health Organization.
• Authority in providing research on Toxoplasmosis in the country.
• Compete at national and regional levels.

 

Mission

Toxoplasmosis Research Center of Mazandaran University of Medical Sciences is the only medical research center for the toxoplasmosis in the country. It has prominent professors and committed researchers. And has diagnostic and therapeutic equipment and facilities in related treatment centers. To improve the quality of health care services in the region and the country, it will increase awareness and promote the health of the community. We are going to encourage the researchers to conduct fundamental, clinical and epidemiological research based on the province's needs, by using the valuable experiences of faculty members and relying on our ability, to provide the university's top scientific presence in national and international scientific communities.

 

Goals

1. Knowledge generation in the field of Toxoplasmosis as an educational and research pole in the region.
2. Developing and targeting research and utilizing them to solve health and treatment problems.
3. Creation of a database on toxoplasmosis in the region and optimal use for science production and the elimination of health and treatment problems.
4. Conduct and systematize the implementation of research projects based on community needs.
5. Scientific cooperation and exchange of information with domestic and international research centers.
