History

The Invasive fungi research center started its activities in June, 2012 by obtaining its establishment permit from the ministry of health and medical education. The center is located in Payambar Azam complex of the medical university, Km 23 Farahabad road in Sari, Mazandaran. Here, we hope we are able to contribute to building the underlying infrastructure for coordinating research projects, and help to betterment of understanding and curing fungal infections and educating a new generation of scientists by utilizing the potentials of our academic staff and other researchers, and promoting studies and new scientific innovations.

• Conducting academic essays and publishing them on credible national and international sites
• Effectively cooperating with international scientific research centers and World Health Organization
• Becoming central in conducting research on medical mycology across the country
• Attaining competitive capability in regional and national scales

 

Mission

Researching and educating in all different fields of medical mycology including clinical studies, basic sciences and laboratory studies, conducting fundamental epidemiologic and clinical researches for reforming and bettering the country’s healthcare services in order to effectively respond to the needs of the community; collect, sort and classify documents and essays and publish them; training research human resource in the field of medical mycology.
