Since 2008, the School of Medicine has been moved to the premise of the main campus in order to provide more services and facilities. In this regard, amenities such as ten equipped labs provide necessary services for the departments of the university.
There are 73 faculty members that combine the teaching staff of the School of Medicine for both basic and clinical sciences. The teaching board include faculties with different university ranks; some of them are internationally recognized.
Presently, the new building of the School of Medicine is hosting students of Parasitology, Laboratory Sciences, and Public Health that do their courses at UG and PG levels in addition to the students of medicine.
