Persian Gulf Nuclear Medicine Academic Center is located in Bushehr University of Medical Sciences.

The department has research-active staffs with excellent national and international links. Persian Gulf Nuclear Medicine Research Center is proud to have these active researchers with such a large diversity of research interests on its staff.

Our research group in an academic institute contains a Nuclear Medicine Physician, a Pharmacologist, four Medical Physicists, a Nanotechnologist, and a Biomedical Engineer.

Nuclear Medicine imaging center

Nuclear Medicine imaging center is a division of the Persian Gulf nuclear medicine research center, located in Heart Hospital.

Nuclear Medicine imaging center utilizes radioactive materials to diagnose the presence of disease in the body and to treat multiple types of cancer.

As part of our imaging facilities, we have a gamma camera and DEXA bone densitometer offering a full range of examinations.
