Bushehr University of Medical Sciences and Health Services was established in the name of Narjes school of Midwifery in 1983 and in 1988, transforming into a faculty, changed its name to the Faculty of Nursery, Midwifery, and Paramedics.
In 1990, with the integration of Medical Colleges in Provincial Health Services college of Medicine formed, continuing its activities under the supervision of the Ministry of Health.
Eventually, in 1995, the former faculty, gaining the required certificates from the Ministry of health started its present status as the Bushehr University of Medical Sciences and Health Services.
