Founded in 1946, Shiraz University of Medical Sciences (SUMS) stands as one of the oldest and most prestigious medical institutions in Iran. Consistently ranked among the top three medical universities in the country, SUMS is recognized as a national leader and main hub for liver and kidney transplantation, clinical immunology, clinical microbiology, and advanced electronic education.

SUMS is renowned for its innovative educational methodologies and unique learning environment, offering a diverse range of undergraduate and graduate programs across basic and clinical medical sciences.
