School of Medicine: The school consists of five main departments: I. Midwifery, II. Nutrition, III. Basic Science, IV. Clinical Education, and V. General Education. The midwifery department admits candidates at midwifery major at two levels of BS., and MS. The MSc level of midwifery includes midwifery education and reproductive health. The applicants are free to choose either one based on their interest and preference. The nutrition department includes two courses of nutrition science at undergraduate level and food safety and hygiene at graduate level. The medicine department admits students who have graduated from senior high schools with a Diploma and have passed the entrance examination for universities (the popularly-called Konkour) successfully in Iran. The students would become skillful in treating patients after a seven-year-study period which will lead to a medical degree (MD). The school departments are as follows:
