Dr. Habib Ghaznavi graduated from School of Medicine, Zahedan University of Medical Sciences in 1997. He received his Ph.D. degree in Pharmacology in 2015 from Iran University of Medical Sciences, Tehran, Iran. He became an Assistant Professor of Pharmacology and served as a full time academic member of Pharmacology Department in Zahedan University of Medical Sciences since 2015. He was elected as the head of Health Technology Incubator Center in ZAUMS in 2016 and the head of Pharmacology Research Center in 2020. He organized the 23rd Iranian Congress of Physiology and Pharmacology in 2018. He is currently an Associate Professor of Phramacology and was appointed as the Chancellor of Zahedan University of Medical Sciences in February 2022. Dr. Ghaznavi has published more than 87 popular research articles and currently he holds a Scopus h-index of 31. He has published a book and has registered a patent. He has supervised 10 M.D. and Ph.D. theses and 52 research projects.
