Student Accommodation

SUMS provides all students with well-equipped dormitories in two cities of Shiraz and Kish. All students admitted to the programs of Doctor of Medicine (M.D.), Doctor of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.) and Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm. D.) will spend the first year of their stay in Kish, an island in the Persian Gulf, southern Iran. However, students accepted to other programs will be staying in Shiraz during their studies. Students residing in Kish for the first year of their studies will be transferred to Shiraz after one year and stay there for the rest of their studies. We provide dormitories for the students studying in Kish, both girls and boys. SUMS dormitories in Kish feature the following:

Boys’ Dormitory

Fully furnished 2-bedroom suites with 2 or 3 beds in each room with bed, TV, DVD player, drawer, closet, desk and chairs, sofa set, etc. Utilities, wired and wireless internet service provided at no additional cost
Lounge and shared bathroom with separate shower and toilet in each suite
Exercise room
Free transportation from dormitory to campus is available
Close to the beach (distance: 10 km)
It is convenient due to the fact that plenty of local shops and shopping centers are found in the neighborhood.
Leisure pursuits are planned for residents.
Laundry facilities including washing machines with built-in dryers are located in the dormitory.
Praying room is available.

Girls’ Dormitory

Fully furnished, 2-bedroom suites with 2 beds in each room with bed, TV, DVD player, drawer, closet, desk and chairs, sofa set, etc. Utilities, wired and wireless internet service provided at no additional cost
