On 2011-12-28, this center managed to obtain an agreement in principle for its establishment and official activity, and on 2016-12-28, it obtained a final agreement.
Vision: As a hub of research on reproductive diseases and infertility in the country, the Fertility and Infertility and Perinatology Research Center of Ahvaz Jundishapur University of Medical Sciences is ranked among the top 10 research centers in the country in medical sciences and was recognized as a WHO research partner in EMRO in 2019.
Mission: This center aims to expand research to offer new solutions for eliminating the causes of infertility and fetal abnormalities and to find appropriate treatments in this regard. More particularly, this center is concerned with developing basic, epidemiological and clinical research on identifying the causes of infertility in men and women and fetal abnormalities.
