This center managed to obtain an agreement in principle for its establishment on  2015-06-13 and received a final agreement on 2016-12-18.
Vision: The Nutrition and Metabolic Disease Research Center aims to become one of the top research centers in the field of nutrition and metabolic diseases by 2025. This is hoped to be achieved by conducting effective research activities, holding seminars and congresses, and promoting the research achievements of the center aimed at the continuous enhancement of the efficiency and effectiveness of medical services.
Mission: Relying on the expertise of its experienced and capable professors, this center creates a suitable platform for the development of applied, basic and productive research and introduction of researchers' innovative works in the prevention and treatment of metabolic diseases and risk factors based on modern nutrition and diet therapy.
