This center aims to meet the basic needs of society for medicines of natural origin (i.e., sea and ocean) in the first place and to provide marine supplements in the second place and most importantly the huge marine potential of the country (i.e., the Persian Gulf, the Caspian Sea, etc.). In search of new solutions for the optimal use of these natural marine resources and new and unique marine products, the establishment of this center was approved in June 2011.
